Presence 4.0 is making its debut. We are pleased to announce we are teaming up with Native American fashion website Beyond Buckskin to bring an exciting fashion event to Phoenix.

This special fashion show will feature hand-selected items by nineteen different Native American designers from the Beyond Buckskin Boutique. Nine of which will be in attendance (with items for purchase) along with the owner of the Boutique, Jessica Metcalfe.

Here is your special invitation to come out and join us – the ladies of P4. We will be busy all night taking captures of YOU and the event. So dress to impress, you just might be featured on an upcoming post.

We launched this blog in an effort to celebrate Native American style. Our posts so far have highlighted the ingenuity of everyday Natives as they rock everything from turquoise to corsets. This BBB/P4 event is guaranteed to impress. We advocate for Native American presence because we believe it is through the education of what Native American look like today that people will gain a greater understanding of our cultures, peoples and customs.

From our press release:

“As Jessica Metcalfe, owner of BBB notes, “We want to celebrate the fashionable and diverse styles of Native people, and to put on an event that showcases our creativity and beauty. We also like the idea of bringing different parts of the Phoenix scene together.”

The show will feature a range of designs, including streetwear, couture, Native pop accessories, and high end metal jewelry made by artists who hail from not only the Southwest, but also the Northwest Coast, Northern Plains, and Southeastern Native tribes.

DJ Randy Boogie will be providing the music, while members of Arizona State University’s sorority Alpha Pi Omega and fraternity Phi Sigma Nu will be the show’s co-hosts, models and volunteers.”

The event will take place on Wednesday, February 27, from 7-10pm at RA Industries located at 15 E. Jackson St. #111 in Phoenix, AZ85004. This event is free and open to the public. All ages welcome.
